[mgunit] Move to GitHub?

Hi,
Are there any plans to move the mgunit code over to a system that makes it
easier to contribute to the code, such as GitHub? I'd imagine that with all
the svn:externals there may be a bit of work involved. git does support
submodules, which provide the same basic behavior, but would require mirrors
for each of the separately tracked projects.
In any event, I've been a big fan of Subversion, but its biggest flaw is the
hurdle required for new contributors to get started. There are a few things
I'd like to enhance with mgunit, but really would like an SCM to use while I
do so.
Please let me know either way. If it's not planned, I may set up tailor.py
or something similar to create a git mirror of the primary SVN repo.
Thanks,
Mel
